3rd-5th grade students participated in a watershed science and environmental design course at Manzanita SEED Elementary in Oakland. Students went on a field trip to local watersheds to explore the riparian environment. They learned about human impacts on the environment and how we can mitigate them. Students designed a sustainable community using recycled items and displayed their work at Dimond Library.
